What is EO Accelerator?

How long has EO Accelerator been around?
EO Accelerator was founded in 2005. Since then, the program has expanded to more than 90 cities globally across 31 countries. Over 10,000 participants have graduated from EOA, with nearly 2,000 joining full EO chapters worldwide.
Is this a consulting service where someone will manage my business for me?
No. Our mentors, EO members, and participants will share from experience and provide tools and examples. It’s up to you to make the changes in your business to accelerate its growth. We’re here to guide, not run your business.
Will the mentors tell me exactly what to do?
No. Our approach is collaborative and experience-based. Mentors and participants share knowledge and real-world examples, but the decisions about your business remain yours. You’re in control of your growth strategy.
Is there a cost to participate?
Yes, but we’re a not-for-profit program. We only charge participant fees to cover the cost of operating the program. These fees help ensure you get quality facilitators, learning materials, and resources.
What if I need to move locations or want to join a different chapter's program?
Notify your local Accelerator Chairs and the global Accelerator team to see if there’s a program in your new location. EO Global staff will act as the liaison between programs to facilitate the changeover. Additional fees may apply depending on the new location’s costs.
What happens when my business reaches US$1 million in revenue?
Once you hit the US$1 million milestone, you graduate to full EO membership. The benefits of full membership are significantly expanded, including access to our global network of 18,000+ entrepreneurs, advanced executive education programs, and leadership development opportunities.
What if I'm venture-backed?
Venture-backed companies can qualify if they have privately raised funds between US$250,000 and US$999,999.
Do I need prior business experience to join?
No. The program is designed for first-time entrepreneurs, new business owners, startup founders, and early-stage companies. You just need ambition and a desire to grow.
How do I know if this is right for me?
